Eyelid Surgery. Brighter, more rested eyes.

Overview: Blepharoplasty removes excess skin and, when needed, fat from the upper and/or lower eyelids. It can reduce a heavy or tired appearance and, in some cases, improve the upper field of vision.

Who it's for: Patients with drooping upper lids, puffiness, or excess skin around the eyes, who are in good general health and have realistic expectations.

What to expect:

  • Procedure: Upper-lid incisions are placed in the natural crease. Lower-lid incisions may be made just below the lashes or inside the lid.
  • Recovery: Bruising, swelling, and dryness are common. Most swelling settles within one to two weeks, and many patients return to work in about a week. Sutures are typically removed within the first week.
  • Results: Final refinement continues over several months, and scars generally fade well.

FAQ:

  • Can it be done with a brow lift? Yes, sometimes. And brow position is evaluated at your consultation to determine if both procedures will be needed.
